Safety Tips

By Megan Wolfarth, Training and Safety Director

The busy season has started at Mr. John and there is a lot of work that needs to be done in a short amount of time! We are all rushing to get things done, but just remember … when anyone rushes to get something done, the quality of work goes down and accidents are more likely to happen. Do not sacrifice your own personal safety (or anyone else's) by rushing to get things done.

Everyone be safe out there and make sure to report all accidents or incidents. And also, don't forget to turn in any safety suggestions you may have! The Safety Committee just approved two suggestions last month, and we are working on implementing them now!

Gold Star Announcements - May 2009
  • John Malanchak (March 31) - A customer called to say that John always did such a wonderful job and that he is always very polite and helpful. If they call for a service, he is there the same day to fix the problem. Great job John!
  • John Haley (May 8) - John got a gold star from a new customer. It was the customer's first order and they e-mailed us to say, "Thanks so much for great service and prompt delivery. John, your delivery person, was fantastic. Even though there was some confusion on my end for delivery time, he put them in the perfect spot!" That's awesome! Way to make a great first impression!
  • Emily Vogt (May 11) - Emily got a gold star from a customer in Coraopolis. The customer said that Emily "is always smiling, no matter what job she is doing". He said that is a rough job, and it's good to see someone smiling. Keep up the good work and keep smiling, Em!
