For the third time since 2003 the Portable Sanitation Association International has honored a Mr. John employee with the Service Tech of the Year Award. 2010 runner up John Sciulli joins first place winners, John Piotrowski, Sr. (2003) and Anna Kerin (2005), as recipients of this award recognizing those who or actively embody the highest standards of the portable sanitation industry worldwide.

The purpose of the PSAI Service Technician Award is to acknowledge that Service Technicians have a great influence on the success of our industry, perhaps greater than any other group of employees. By demonstrating behaviors that actively embody the highest standards of our industry and reduce the likelihood of injury to themselves and others, they contribute not only to human values, but the overall health and safety of the industry.

The winner and runner-up is chosen based on assessments of the following five areas of responsibility:

  1. Safety on the road
  2. Personal safety
  3. Dependable customer service
  4. Cooperation and compliance with employer and industry guidelines & standards
  5. Concern for company equipment in their care

John Sciulli’s nomination for this award was met with overwhelming support from Mr. John employees. Leaders from Operations, Customer Service, Quality Assurance, Safety & Training, and Human Resources departments all wrote letters of recommendation in support of John. These letters were back up by numerous customer testimonials, exceptional Quality Assurance scores, safety awards, and documentation of driving history and PSAI Certification.

With all of this taken into account John was fittingly recognized as one of the top service techs in the world. For more information on the PSAI and the PSAI Service Tech of the Year Award visit www.psai.org
